Saltwater Fishing: Halibut fishing is still in full swing, and the quality of the fish is fantastic. Several Ling-Cod, and black bass are being caught daily, also a few Silvers here and there in the bay. Somehow they bypassed the bay and went up the rivers……

Our updated FISHING REPORT is HERE! Read below:
Silver Salmon are on the move up the river and are in the bay. We have not received the rains we were hoping for this last week, so river levels still very low.
Guides are being innovative and venturing out to new locations, to give clients the best possibilities to catch fish. Even though the river level is low, the fishing continues to be really good.
Lost river and Tawah creek are producing fish, but they are also feeling the effects of no rain.
Ankau bridge is seeing good numbers of Silver Salmon passing by at every incoming tide. Also the Ankau lagoons are producing some real nice fish, which can be reached in one of our skiffs.
Ocean conditions have been good lately with all the sunshine and no wind.
Halibut, black rock fish, ling cod and now Silvers Salmon fishing has been real good. Average halibut retained is around 50 to 60 pounds, which are the tastiest ones to eat.

AND UPDATE FOR YOU ALL ON Salt Water:
Halibut and Black Bass fishing has been stellar all season and should continue into September. Rock fish and Ling Cod fishing has also been good this month so far. King fishing is closed and the Coho are not being caught in the bay as of yet.
AN UPDATE FOR YOU ALL on our Fresh water:
Sockeye Salmon have made their last push and reached 72,000 for the year. Pink Salmon are still here in the river in abundance and reached over 200,000 at the weir count. Silver Salmon counts reached over 400 pass the weir before the weir was removed on the 10 of August. Guides have been able to get into some nice bright Coho on the incoming tides and hooking tons of pinks and some Sockeye still if luck is on your side and you get through the pinks!

Tom Sr. and Tom Jr. took the #bayboat out expecting to catch the smaller #halibut. They caught 3 small halibut and ten #blackbasswhen Tom Senior’s #98lb halibut hit the line. It took them over half an hour to #reelitin. Both Tom’s say it was amazing!
