Transportation

Most tourists travel to the Kenai River via airline from Anchorage. It's a short 30 minute flight and ground transportation is available to reach the local fishing spots.

You can also rent a car or RV in Anchorage and drive the Seward Highway down to the Kenai Peninsula. This 2 hour drive is through the National Forest Scenic Byway and features some of the most scenic vistas accessible by road in Alaska.
